Hello October! - Fall Activities, Change and Birthstones

Can you believe it's October already?? Where does the time go?! What are some of your favorite things about this month? I think the sunlight shines differently and the air has a crisper smell to it. I love the flavors of Fall and the end of the season harvest. I guess I shouldn't go trick or treating since I don't have kids but I'm totally going to carve a pumpkin, probably by myself haha... Fall is upon us! Since I've lived in FL for the past 7 years, I have really missed this season! Right now the air is starting to get cooler, the days are getting shorter, pumpkin spice everything is hitting shelves, and here in CO we have a short window of time to enjoy the gorgeous colors of the aspen trees. What's Behind the Name?

I've had some inquiries about where the name G Miner Studios came from. It has received a very positive response but I can't take all the credit. My grandfather, John Davis, passed away in the summer of 2014. He was a rockhound and was passionate about rocks, minerals and gemstones.
